As founder, editor, designer, and publisher of Little Joe, I set out to create a unique forum for the discussion of cinema, sexuality, gender and queer history. Running from 2010 to 2021, the publication brought together essays, conversations, short stories, comics, and archival discoveries, and became a cult publication in queer film culture. Alongside the magazine, we curated screenings and events with institutions including Tate Modern, ICA London, LUX, and Light Industry, and festivals including BFI Flare, Dirty Looks, and Queer Lisboa. The best of its writing is now collected in a volume published by SPBH Editions/MACK.
